Privacy. In one page.
MultiTrim runs entirely on your Mac. We don't have servers that see your audio, we don't run analytics, and we don't operate accounts. What follows is the long version of that sentence.
- 01
What we collect
Nothing personal. MultiTrim has no account system, no email signup, no telemetry pings on launch.
Audio files stay on disk where you put them. Trimmed copies write to the output folder you choose. The app reads inputs, writes outputs — that's the entire I/O footprint.
Mac App Store handles purchase and download. Apple sees that transaction; we don't get your account details.
- 02
How processing happens
All audio analysis runs locally using native macOS frameworks. No internet connection is required at any point during silence detection, trimming or batch operations.
MultiTrim ships sandboxed, with file-system access limited to the folders you explicitly drag in or pick through the open panel.
No outbound network requests during processing. The only network traffic is Apple's StoreKit checking your purchase receipt — and the app keeps working offline whether or not that check completes.
- 03
License validation
Pro is unlocked through Apple's StoreKit. We never see your Apple ID, payment method or receipt details — that's between you and Apple.
Once validated, Pro features remain available offline. We do not call home, count usage, or rate-limit by activity.
- 04
Retention
We hold no user data, so there is nothing to retain or delete.
App preferences (output folder, RMS threshold, naming pattern) live in your local macOS preferences plist. They go away when you uninstall.
- 05
Third parties
Apple App Store and Apple StoreKit, for distribution and purchase verification respectively.
Nothing else. No analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no advertising network.
- 06
Your rights
Your files belong to you. The app never takes copies, never modifies originals.
Uninstall through Finder or Launchpad to remove every trace of MultiTrim from your Mac.
- 07
Changes
If we ever update this policy we will post the new version here with a fresh date. Given the architecture, future changes will only ever maintain or strengthen these defaults — they cannot loosen what isn't collected in the first place.
